Voting Power Within the Arbitrum DAO

In this dashboard, we examine the voting power of Arbitrum DAO. Recently, native token $ARB was distributed among active users of Arbitrum network and caused a new evolution in blockchain. In the meantime, some users gave up their voting power, and some events happened in this direction, which we will investigate.

    Who is involved?

Individuals across the ecosystem can participate in governance. Token holders control protocol upgrades, funds allocation, and election of a Security Council who can perform emergency upgrades. Your voting power is derived directly from the number of tokens delegated to you.

Users across the ecosystem will be given voting power. 11.62% of tokens will be initially distributed to users and 1.13% will be distributed to DAOs in the Arbitrum ecosystem.

How to delegate your voting power: A guide for $ARB token holders

Delegating your voting power is an essential part of participating in the Arbitrum DAO. As a token holder, you have the ability to vote on governance proposals and to elect members of the Security Council.

If you don't have the time or resources to actively participate in the DAO's governance, you can still make your voice heard by delegating your voting power to a delegate. This how-to will walk you through the process of evaluating and selecting a delegate.
