Uniswap is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange that uses a set of smart contracts to execute trades on its exchange. It's an open source project and falls into the category of a DeFi product because it uses smart contracts to facilitate trades.

Methodology

The pool I choose is USDC/ETH pair for this analysis.
Contract address of this pool that I needed to use and filter my queries is below address: 0x88e6a0c2ddd26feeb64f039a2c41296fcb3f5640.
The Flipsidecrypto ethereum core and swaps table is queried to find the data on this analyse.

Comments

As it is shown in the graphs, there is number of swaps where USDC is swapped for ETH and there is volume of swaps happened. In recent weeks there are drawdowns in both number of swaps and volume of swaps.

Over the last 30 days more than 4.6 billion USDC swapped to WETH in this specific pool.
Total transactions made for these swaps almost reached to 82K.

In this time period lowest amount of swap occurred on April 8th by 45.9M USDC and highest amount that swapped is 288.2M which happened on April 14th.

Both transactions count and swap volume has so many fluctuations in the last 30 days.

Here in this section the number of swaps and volume of swaps for WETH is illustrated. Here as well we could see drawdown in swaping and volume of the amount as well.

Almost same trend movement of first graphs can be seen on daily charts of swapping WETH to USDC with the diffrence of volume.

Total swap transactions on this pair in the last 30 days is 81.5K swaps while 2.4M volume created by these transactions.

While swap transactions between two swps happened but difference volume on them is huge and significant. More than 19X bigger swaps happened from USDC to WETH.

Above graphs indicates swap transations on this pool has been playing inbetween 4K to 8K for almost 4 weeks. On the other hand swap volume has a few fluctuations where decreased to lowest amount of April 8th and increased to highest peak on April 14th.

Among swappers of USDC and WEHT, There is this address that have swapped WETH and USDC to each other more than any wallets in the last 30 days. 0xdd8ef55055e01d39cb87571bd38c43ab9b5903a5 address swapped WETH to USDC around 790 times while did this swaps in opposite and managed to have more than 1K swaps from USDC to receive WETH tokens.
