Apart from disguising referral links on his site the guy behind starstat had a button on his startpage that supposedly started his site but it opened a window with a referral link aswell which did refer hundreds of people to him without them being aware of (which is against the law btw). Even after the community tried to make him understand that this was fraudulent he still keeps at tactics to make money off users not knowing that they would invalidate their accounts for choosing by whom they want to get referred by themselves. We encourage you to stay away from starstat.
