    Trails: Impact of Incentivized Actions

    On April 26th, 2023, Trails Protocol introduced an incentivized on-chain program known as the Frontier Project. designed to guide users throughout the Solana ecosystem. Trails currently supports 5 projects on Trails, but are in the process of adding several more. In this analysis, we will be focusing on Jupiter Exchange to measure just how much the Trails Frontier Program has affected users and volume. The Trails Protocol offers a 3-step instruction guide on what the protocol is, how to use the protocol, and then allows the user to enter their Tx to prove they have completed the steps. Let's dive in below to see what trends we can find.

    Trails Protocol is an educational tool to help expose users to new projects. They also provide guidance in step-by-step instructions and videos to make it easy to use the project. Since the launch of the Frontier Program, plenty of users have participated in the the Trailhead objectives which contains challenges on how to use the protocol, and rewards for completing them.     The objective of this dashboard is to measure the impact of the Trails Protocol Frontier program on the Jupiter Exchange. . Since the Frontier project has been going on for 8+ days, the time interval is aggregated to 14 days, This can be changed above. To find our objective we will need to answer the following questions:

    • Has the Frontier Program had an affect on first-time users?
    • Is the Frontier Program bringing new entrants to the Solana blockchain?
