For the month of January, there are 14247 unique claimers and total of 8.66M of $ANC token has been claimed. On average, senders claimed 3.6 times in one month.

Graphs below show the daily volume of $ANC claimed, transactions count, claimers count and average $ANC claimed. On Jan 25th, there was a spike in volume of $ANC claimed, most likely by a whale that finally claimed his/her pending rewards.

So, what does the $ANC claimers do with the $ANC ??

Three main things the claimer did are stake $ANC for governance staking, provide liquidity at Astroport or sold the $ANC for $UST. Graph below shows the distribution of $ANC activities by claimers. Most of $ANC claimed in January was sold for $UST by claimers which is 41%, and 30% was used to provide liquidity, and 28% was being staked for governance. However, addresses that stake $ANC is the highest with over 8400, followed by provide lp and then sold.

Graph below shows the daily volume of $ANC activities by claimers. We can see that stake and sold $ANC has a steady increase in volume while provide LP has been decreasing.

In conclusion, Anchor is very important component in Terra ecosystem however selling pressure on $ANC was quite high so some update to $ANC tokenomics and emission are needed. However, Anchor is basically the main bank on Terra so I definitely won't fade it and will be accumulating $ANC.
