    What is Quix

Quix is a platform for developing and deploying applications with streaming data.

We architected Quix natively around a message broker (specifically Kafka) because we know databases are in the way of building low-latency applications that scale cost-effectively. Instead of working with data on a disk, developers could work with live data in-memory, if broker technologies were easier to use.

But they are not easy to use, especially for Python developers who are at the forefront of data science but cannot easily work with streaming data.

Quix provides everything a developer needs to build applications with streaming data. By using Quix you can build new products faster whilst keeping your data in memory, helping to achieve lower latencies and lower operating costs.

From the top-down, our stack provides a Web UI, API’s and SDK that abstract developers off our underlying infrastructure, including fully-managed Kafka topics, a serverless compute environment and a metadata-driven data catalog (time-series database with steroids).

    What is Magic Eden

There has never been a shortage of creatives around the world. The only problem that remains is finding innovative platforms that can showcase their creations. The emergence of NFTs has brought a new era of opportunities for creatives, but the exorbitant cost and technical know-how required for this venture have proven to be an immense hurdle for most people.

As a solution, Magic Eden has dealt with these limitations by simplifying the minting process and bringing down the cost of transaction fees, making non-fungible token (NFT) ventures affordable and simple for everyone. Since Magic Eden runs on the Solana blockchain, all fees involved are basically negligible thanks to the network’s high throughput.

    What is Opensea

At OpenSea, we're excited about a brand new type of digital good called a non-fungible token or NFT. NFTs have exciting new properties: they’re unique, provably scarce, tradeable, and usable across multiple applications. Just like physical goods, you can do whatever you want with them! You could throw them in the trash, gift them to a friend across the world, or go sell them on an open marketplace. But unlike physical goods, they're armed with all the programmability of digital goods.

Open protocols like Ethereum and interoperable standards like ERC-721 and ERC-1155 will enable vibrant new economies. We're building tools that allow consumers to trade their items freely, creators to launch new digital works, and developers to build rich, integrated marketplaces for their digital items.

    🧠 Methodology

In this dashboard, we present a comparison between Opensea Magic Eden and Quix NFT marketplaces

    • Data whose related operations are performed by each address used.
    • We've improved the reference query by adding the address to the list of Quix contracts.
    • We used "logs" and "transactions" data to extract NFT sales on the Quix platform.
    • Data preparation includes tracking OpenSea and Magic Eden using the NFT_SALES table.
