    Flow - Daily Active Users

    This dashboard tracks how Flow blockchains active users have evolved over time from daily, monthly, and overall perspective. It will discuss trends, and potential reasoning for any recent spikes in activity.

    Summary of Flow Blockchain

    ‍Flow is a fast, decentralized, and developer-friendly blockchain from Dapper Labs, the founder of the popular NFT project CryptoKitties. Launched in October 2020, Flow is designed to be the foundation for a new generation of games, apps, and the digital assets that power them. It is based on a unique, multi-role architecture, and designed to scale without sharding, allowing for massive improvements in speed and throughput while preserving a developer-friendly, ACID-compliant environment.

    Flow claims to differentiate itself from other blockchains via it's:

    Methodology

    For this analysis, I will first start by identifying the overall number of users, the monthly users for the last 12 months, and the daily users over the last 30 days.

    Once I have identified the trends in user data, I will isolate three example months of high user activity for further analysis. I will analyze these months from a daily perspective and contract perspective. Once I have found which contracts have the highest influence, I will choose three high-user count dates for further analysis. From there, I will use both on-chain data and off-chain data to examine granular potential causes for the high-user count.

    Account Address: On Flow, the account address is an umbrella address that contains the digits 0x at the beginning. It can have several contract addresses associated with it.

    Contract Address: Sub-addresses associated with an account address. (ie., the account address is the car and the contract addresses are the parts that make up the car)
