Friendtech launched on Base in 2023 allowing users to connect their twitter and promote their own "keys"/"shares" - essentially tokenizing their brand.

Users could gate content or talk directly with their key holders, allowing them to provide services and value to their holders.

Creators and the Protocol initially split 10% of the sell volume when keys were bought/sold.

The protocol turned off their administrative control, ending protocol fee accumulation in July 2024. The on-chain code remains functional and the web-app is still supported.
