Solana had a lot of transaction momentum in the first half of the year and has since gone down in the second half. While the number of transactions has gone down, the number of unique signers has gone up (especially towards end of August) indicating that more people are coming on-chain but making lesser transactions. This shift in interest coincides with a high transaction success rate in the second half of the year (60+) compared to a low success rate in first half (40+).
