Polygon Opensea Fees
==Vis 5==
Between June 7 and June 15, the amount of collected fees were relatively higher than on other days, and on June 15, it reached the highest amount of $12.06k.
This amount reached the lowest level of $2686 on June 26.
==Vis 6 and Vis 7:==
Most of the sales are done by WETH and the ratio of using this token to others on different days is the highest.
Although, in a few days, this ratio has decreased and reached an approximate ratio of 60 to 40 against the sales made with DAI.(Jun 18)
The amount of use of USDC and REVV tokens on different days is very small and can be almost ignored.
Method:
A 2.5% share is taken as a fee from every NFT sale on Opensea. This fee is sent to specific Opensea addresses which are only for collecting fees, and by checking the incoming transactions to these addresses, it is possible to calculate the amount of fee that Opensea has obtained for selling NFT on the Polygon network.
By checking the transactions related to the sale of NFT in Opensea as seen in the opposite image and also checking all sales transactions, the addresses related to the collection of fees were determined:

For this dashboard, the new Polygon tables that start from June 06 have been used.
NFT sale in Opensea has been done with WETH, USDC, DAI, and REVV coins.
In all these sales, Opensea's 2.5% share has been deposited to fee collector addresses by the token with which the purchase was made.
With the help of the fact_event polygon table, by specifying the contract of each of these tokens, the sale is calculated based on the types of tokens, and with the average price of WETH and also REVV on different days, the dollar income of opensea from the collection of this 2.5% fee was determined.

NFT activity on marketplace OpenSea over the Polygon network has soared the past months. As NFT activity shifts to Polygon, users save hundreds of millions in Ethereum gas fees.
Users have been able to trade NFTs on OpenSea over the Polygon network since July 2021, and the option has grown in popularity from the very beginning. Polygon is an Ethereum Virtual Machine compatible sidechain to Ethereum, and by using OpenSea on Polygon, users can save on Ethereum gas fees as well as experience faster transactions.
In a tweet thread, Polygon analyst Simran Gogia says trading volumes on OpenSea over Polygon reached $78.9 million in January with over 102,000 trades per day. According to Gogia, by using Polygon instead of the Ethereum base chain, users saved a total of $195.6 per month, averaging $0.04 per transaction.
On a daily basis, users save in total $7.18 million, or around $70 per transaction, according to Gogia.more info
In this dashboard, we will review Opensea's revenue from NFT sales on the Polygon network from June 6 to today. We also will have a comparison between this income from fees from sales with different tokens used for sales. And also see how these amounts were changed on different days.
==Vis 1 and Vis 2:==
In this period of time, 212 thousand NFT Sales have been done in Opensea on the Polygon network, and the profit of opensea by collecting 2.5% for fee is about $313k.
==Vis 3 and Vis 4:==
By examining Opensea's dollar income from NFT sales on the Polygon network with different coins, it can be seen that the largest amount is related to WETH with $301.8k. This amount is about 95.2% of the total, after which sales with DAI are second with about 4.77%. Sales with REVV and USDC are very small, less than 0.03% compared with the total amount.
Since these fees are related to sales and it was 2.5% of the sales price of NFT. It can be concluded that NFT sales in the Polygon network are mostly done with WETH.
In terms of the number of sales, 99.3% of the sales were made with WETH.
==Vis 8==
By viewing the cumulative amount of Opensea's dollar income from sales on the Polygon network with the starting point of June 6, it is possible to check opensea's dollar earnings in different intervals.
For example, until the end of June, opensea's revenue was equal to $165.2k.
Considering the total income from the sale of NFT in the whole period equal to $317k, we can calculate the amount of sales in July ($151.85k).
==Vis 9:==
The revenue from the sale of Opensea is displayed cumulatively by the tokens used in the sale. A logarithmic chart has been used to better observe the changes.
As mentioned, the values related to USDC and REVV are very low, and for USDC this earning is about $122 and for REVV it is about $13.
==Vis 10:==
The number of sales of NFTs on the Polygon network on different days is shown as well as the cumulative sales chart.
Considering that the number of sales until the end of July is about 117k and the total sales is about 216k, the number of sales in July is less than 100k.
==Vis 11 and Vis 12:==
For July 2022, a comparison was made between Opensea’s earnings in Polygon and Ethereum network sales.
Opensea's income from Polygon network sales is $165k and also for Ethereum network sales is about $480k, Which is 3 times the earnings from the sale of NFT in the Polygon network.
