Number of currencies transacted with in the past 90 days vs raw addresses

It's hard to learn anything from such noise. Here's the distribution of the addresses over the number of currencies they transacted with.

Vast majority of the addresses active in the past 90 days interacted with a single currency(97.4%). About 2.5% interacted with 2 and .08% with 3. Most addresses transacting with a single currency were using KRT (90%). With some others using UST(5.8%), LUNA(3.9%) and MNT(0.3%)

Transaction Volumes

Addresses transacting with a single currency (LUNA) represent 72.5% of the total volume.

Addresses transacting with 2 currencies make up 25%

Addresses transacting with 3 currencies make up 1.6%

Taking a look at the average volumes, we see that the addresses transacting with only LUNA or one other currency had a much larger average transaction size in USD than the other currencies regardless of how many were used by the same address, EXCEPT for the 5 addresses transacting in 6 currencies, which reached an average transaction size over 2M USD. (Might be interesting to see the types of addresses submitting the transactions.)

Very interesting to look at the daily distribution of volumes by the number currencies used by an address in the past 90 days: Almost all the volume of the volume addresses interacting with one or two currencies occured on Aug.8 (96% and 93% of volumes). Of course this day fundamentally skews the rest of the distributions. How do these distributions look if we exclude Aug.8?

Having removed the unusual transaction event on August 8, we get a clearer picture of a usual day on Terra. Most Value is moved by 1,2,3 or 5 currency using addresses and predominantly in LUNA and UST, with a substantial contribution by addresses using only KRT.

The average USD volume in LUNA has been substantially lowered for the addresses using one or two currencies.

Having come this far, let's see the number of addresses that moved over 100k USD in a transaction with LUNA on August 8.

Having checked the transaction history of out mega Whale I have now learned that he is and have always been... dirt poor. The enourmous transactions were invalid and have been reverted. Which on the other hand tells me to redo my calculations after excluding failed transactions.
