    If we take a look at the volume of all pools on Thorchain in USD over the past 90 days Rune's price action immediately starts to make sense. ETH joined the party and ever since October 21st volumes are set to full blast.

    The first price increase of Rune at the beginning of October is directly attributable to the BTC pool coming online. The recent near doubling in value of Rune following October 20th is thanks to veritable Cambrian explosion of pools starting to operate with high volume. This is reflected in the volume of new pools: ETH, PERP, DODO, AAVE, ALCHEMIX, as well as a corresponding increase in BUSD, USDC volumes as well.
