    Algorand Active Daily Wallets

    Algorand is one of the fastest Blockchains in cryptocurrencies which uses PPOS (Pure Prove Of Stake) as its consensus mechanism. We Are going to take a look at how Algorand growth looks like in terms of Active Daily wallets. To do this, in line with what Bounty asks us to do, i compared ADW (Active Daily Wallets) in month of Jan 2022 to months of Dec 2021 and Jan 2021.

    As you can see in first chart the AVG number of Daily active wallets hangs around 20 to 25k and there is no significant up and down. But January 2022 has seen a significant rise in days of 11th and 12th. suddenly active Daily wallets raised from 246k to 360k and then 413k and the back to 260k. what could possibly be the reason?

    as i was searching through twitter i realized there was two major collaboration between Algorand, Quantoz and Alchemy which both are ramp to crypto facilitations. that seems to be the reason behind sudden use of wallets. but the reason behind follow decrease is unknown to me.

    Dec 2021 also has a very significant spike which almost 20xed the number of daily active wallets. this seems quite interesting and mysterious to me. I know Algofi mainnet was launched Dec 19th but i'm not sure that alone could be responsible for this rise.
