Miso's Competitive Advantage

Q67. Create a visual document outlining the below facts about Miso, the new addition to the Sushi menu: - What is Miso and what problems does it solve? - Why should users use Miso? - What are the alternatives out there for Miso? - How is Miso going to do it differently from its competitors? Note that you can reference articles but the content itself should be in your own words.

MISO functionality is aimed at easing new tokens through their launch and migration of new liquidity into SushiSwap. MISO aims to drive new capital and trade to the exchange by increasing the attractiveness of SushiSwap as a place for token creators and communities to launch new project tokens. Miso stands for minimal initial SushiSwap Offering. Basically, projects or softwares or anyone who wants to release any token can do so on the sushi swap network and instantly gain liquidity by taking all the benefits of the sushi swap website. So one benefit of the decentralized Ethereum network is that if you know how to code and create a couple of smart contracts, you can deploy any ERC-20 token onto the network and we've actually seen that with the rise of dogecoin and of course all the meme coins that have been minted on the Ethereum network.

Miso is a new addition to Sushiswap that aims to help new tokens launch. Essentially it helps token creators and token investors do certain things like adding liquidity so the token can be traded, creating initial token auctions, and even helping with some code creation.

    Why should users use Miso?

If users use miso, they can choose between how their tokenomics will work, how the market sale options will work and this is how to raise money and create value for the token of the project, as well as what they can do after they are done distributing the tokens, for example users can use their token in onsen and this will provide liquidity and those who do provide liquidity to their project will also be rewarded because they are using SushiSwap network which that then gives them not only the liquidity providing transaction fees but also the added bonus of farming sushi tokens.

Sushiswap is unique in the fact that it operates on a ton of blockchains. Uniswap only works on Ethereum, Pancakeswap only works on the Binance Smart Chain, but Sushiswap works on Ethereum, xDai, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon, and a few others that aren’t famous yet, but them not being famous is why Sushiswap is on them - they want to be the earliest Dex on those platforms

The project is intended to lower the barrier of entry to token creation and encourage new projects to launch on Sushi. MISO provides a platform where entrepreneurs can mix together “ingredients,” or pre-audited smart contracts, to customize and launch their own token.

Recipes combine one or many ingredients to create and launch our own token. We can build our own MISO from any of ingredients. Factory - Minting of new tokens Market - Initial Token Offerings; Fixed Price and Dutch Auction options Liquidity - Migration of a portion of raised funds to SushiSwap Farms - Options for immediate locking away of Minted Tokens inside various Farm types. Current proposal focusing on updating the MasterChef contracts to support custom rewards. Fermentation Vaults - Vaulting and escrow of Minted Tokens and interaction with Market funds. Current implementations include Multi-Sig and Timelock vaults.

Gitcoin is a platform where coders and developers can get paid to work on open-source software in a wide variety of programming languages. Users can also submit their own project ideas to the Gitcoin platform in order to crowdsource funding from contributing donors. Aside from direct community crowdfunding, Gitcoin employs a unique system known as quadratic funding to help match community funding efforts to accelerate development of the projects the community deems most popular. All in all, Gitcoin is a platform designed to foster the development of meaningful, open-source projects and better align the interests of donors and developers.
