Transactions on Near by Horizon Users
    Introduction

In this analysis, we will explore Near Horizon, a recently launched initiative by the Near Foundation. During the Consensus event, the NEAR Foundation unveiled NEAR Horizon, an accelerator that aims to revolutionize the support provided to founders in Web3.

To organize this analysis effectively, it has been divided into two categories. First, we will delve into the general activities of Near Horizon. Subsequently, we will examine the activities of Near Horizon users on the Near chain, focusing on identifying their origins and the areas in which they are most active.

    Overview

Let's begin by discussing the number of users using the Horizon platform since its launch. Since its inception, 67 unique addresses have been observed using Horizon.

It is worth noting that regular users do not typically have access to Horizon, as startup founders or managers primarily utilize it. Considering this, the initial figure of 67 users represents a promising start for the platform.

Among those 67 users, 308 transactions have been conducted on Horizon. In the following section, we will delve into the specific activities these users perform on the platform. Notably, the highest user activity level was recorded on May 11, 2023.

It is important to reiterate that considering Horizon's recent launch and its intended audience, these figures indicate a promising beginning for the platform.

Fees may be considered a less significant aspect of a platform like Horizon. However, it is still worth examining to understand that Horizon, as an accelerator in the Web3 space, operates similarly to other components of Near.

Each action on Horizon is treated as a transaction on the Near blockchain, and the average fees paid for these transactions were within the normal range, similar to other transactions on the network.

When analyzing the actions taken on Horizon, we observed that approximately 50 distinct users added projects to the platform within less than a month. The most prevalent action on Horizon was project modification, which 55 unique users performed. Additionally, 11 unique wallets were registered as vendors on Horizon.

Notably, a single investor was recorded on Horizon during this period. These findings highlight the platform's early engagement and diverse range of activities.

Upon analyzing the registered projects per user on Horizon, it was found that the average number of projects per user is 1.1. Approximately 94% of the users added only a single project to the platform.

Notably, only one wallet added more than four projects on Horizon. This aligns with expectations, as users typically tend to focus on one project at a time, making it normal to see most users with a single project registration.

The chart below aims to gain insights into user activities on the Near chain based on their actions on Horizon. Each user action on Horizon serves as a user tag. For instance, users who added projects displayed the highest activity level compared to other user types. They accounted for approximately 27-43% of the total transactions.

Furthermore, the activities of wallets that registered as investors increased after February, reaching levels as high as 14% on certain days. This chart provides an overview of the user profiles on the Near chain. Further details regarding this analysis can be found in the next tab.
