Sei: Top Dapps and Contracts
Introdcution
In this analysis, you will delve into the realm of top dapps and contracts on the Sei chain since its official launch. Sei stands as a versatile, open-source L1 blockchain that offers optimal infrastructure for digital asset exchange. Prioritizing reliability, security, and remarkable throughput, this chain paves the way for an entirely new realm of ultra-high performance DeFi products.
The Sei chain made its official debut on August 15, enabling users to engage with their dapps from that point onward. The core focus of this analysis revolves around Sei dapps, ensuring all figures presented are interconnected.

Users and Transactions
Roughly 26,800 distinct users have initiated 372,000 transactions, averaging around 23,000 transactions per day since the official launch. This span encompasses a period of 16 days up until the point when I'm composing these insights.
Considering the overall count of transactions and users, it appears that users have averaged 13 transactions on the Sei chain since its inception. Just five days following the launch, there was a substantial surge in the number of transactions involving dapps, escalating from 11,000 to an impressive 47,000. During the pinnacle of this surge, approximately 5,600 distinct users engaged with dapps on the Sei chain daily.
Network Fee
Sei's reputation is growing due to its rapid and cost-effective blockchain. As I previously highlighted, users have engaged in 372,000 transactions, incurring network fees amounting to 36,000 US dollars or 225,000 Sei. It appears that, after a week, transaction fees became even more affordable. Between August 21 and 24, the highest number of transactions occurred on the Sei chain. However, the highest fees paid were during the first week of Sei chain's launch, and users paid less for network fees during the peak activity period.
In the chart below, you can observe the distribution of users categorized by the number of transactions they've conducted, along with the corresponding breakdown of the fees paid by each user segment.
As previously mentioned, it appears that the average transaction fee has decreased since the official launch. On average, users have paid 0.02 US dollars or 0.13 SEI for transaction fees. Additionally, it seems that there is no clear correlation between transaction count and the corresponding fees paid. This is evident as the average fees remained relatively consistent despite variations in the number of transactions, whether lower or higher.
Defination
Users: Every wallet that interacted with any smart contracts is counted as a user.
Transactions: Any transaction related to smart contracts, including approvals, confirmations, and others, is counted as a transaction.
Types of Dapss: Games, Dapps, Defi, Tokens, NFTs, DEXs and Bridge
Fee: In this analysis, the term 'fee' refers to network fees rather than platform fees. The fee is calculated in both USD and SEI tokens.
Contracts: Contracts encompass all smart contracts associated with dApps.
