Method
- In order to find Smart contracts on Near, I used the Event and transaction table. In the event table, I transactions with action name equal to DeployContract. Then joined to transactions table with transaction hash as a primary key to extract the name of smart contracts. All data in this analysis is from September 2021.
- I chose the beginning of March to find the top new smart contracts.
Daily Number of Smart contracts that are used. 2021
- The highest number of contracts that were used In December 2021 was higher than other months.
Daily Number of Smart contracts that are used. 2022
- Almost each month have a huge spike. I couldn’t find why each month, the total number of contracts that used increased significantly. Total contracts decreased in the last three months in comparison to the beginger of 2022.
- This chart shows the number of new daily contracts on Near. I picked up the first transaction of the Smart contract and showed it in the table as publish date. The highest number of smart contracts deployed on Near was on September 16th, 2021. Nearly 30x higher than other days, Smart contracts deployed. I can see from the beginning of 2022, The number of contracts increased until the end of April. After than again decreased.
The total Daily use of smart contracts in the first six months of 2022 was higher than in the second six months of 2021. On some days, Total use and interaction with some smart contracts increased significantly. For example, Number of contracts that have been used and the total number of Interact reached above 1K on June 7th.

- Total number of Smart contracts that used in 2021 is nearly 9.7K and in 2022 is 21K. Almost doubled.
The average interact with smart contracts is 111 tx. The Top 3 smart contracts are 0xfluxs.near, Zaikhanh.near and nearbiez.
