Introduction
In this analysis, we want to check the effect of NBA Conference finals (May 17th - May 29th) on NBA Top shots volumes; in addition to, we analysis the sales volume of Warriors, Celtics, Mavericks, or Heat.
NBA Top shots volume
In the chart below, we can see the NBA Top shots volume from the April 20th to July 12th.
In the NBA conference finals, no significant change is observed and most days the volume is about 25k; hence, total volume are not affected much by this event. For a more detailed analysis, we also check the sales volume in this period in the next section.
Warriors Sales Volume
In the chart below, we can see the Warriors sales volume.
In the NBA Conference Finals Period (May 17th- May 29th), Warriors sales volume most days are around its average and on May 22th the sales volume reached 29.7k number which is the highest sales volume in this period.
On the first 5 days, there was a growth on sales volume and after that the sales volume decreased.
Mavericks Sales Volume
In the chart below, we can see the Mavericks sales volume.
In the NBA Conference Finals Period (May 17th- May 29th), Mavericks sales volume most days are above its average and on May 25th the sales volume reached 29.5k number. In this day, Mavericks win the game versus Warriors.
Its highest sales volume in this period is about 29.5k, which is only 5k lower than its ATH sales volume.
NBA Top shots sales
Unlike the volume, the sales had increased on the third day of NBA conference finals, May 19th, which is around 826k. It’s strange that without noticeable change in volume, the sales has increased.
