On the other hand, the picture is quite different for wallets that hold between 1,000 and 10,000 Bitcoins. Over the past 90 days, these wallets have amplified their total Bitcoin holdings by around 600,000, with the pace of accumulation accelerating as we move closer to today. This suggests a rising level of confidence or strategic accumulation among these more substantial account holders, a group that is not quite in 'whale' territory yet but certainly carries significant influence. Turning our attention to the largest players - those wallets holding over 10,000 Bitcoins - we find yet another unique pattern. Since the end of April, these wallets have seen a net increase of approximately 400,000 Bitcoins in their holdings. However, this growth trend has reached a plateau recently, suggesting that these major players are currently in a phase of maintaining rather than increasing their positions, possibly waiting for further market signals before making their next move. The final key observation pertains to the creation of new wallets on the Bitcoin blockchain, particularly those now holding between 1,000 and 10,000 Bitcoins. Since June 12th, there has been a notable uptick in the number of such wallets, with 20 or more new ones being created each week. This frequency significantly surpasses the usual rate of two to five new wallets per week we have seen previously. This surge might hint at 'whale' account recycling, a practice where large holders distribute their holdings across new wallets for reasons such as security, privacy, or strategic trading.
