What is Cosmos?

Cosmos (ATOM) is a cryptocurrency that powers an ecosystem of blockchains designed to scale and interoperate with each other. The team aims to "create an Internet of Blockchains, a network of blockchains able to communicate with each other in a decentralized way." Cosmos is a proof-of-stake chain.

What is Axelar?

Axelar provides a decentralized network and tools that help connect dApp builders with multiple blockchain ecosystems, applications, and users for frictionless cross-chain communication. Axelar consists of a protocol suite, tools, and APIs, designed to break down the barriers to cross-chain communication.

What is the Satellite Bridge?

Satellite is a web app built on top of the Axelar network. Use it to transfer assets from one chain to another.

What is Osmosis?

Osmosis is a decentralized exchange/automated market maker that allows easy cross-chain transactions across multiple networks through its Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. 

Methodology

In this dashboard we will look at the asset transfer activity from Axelar to Osmosis. Aditionally we will look to see what user have done with these assets ones transferd to Osmosis.

Satellite Bridge Transfer To Osmo by Token

Observations

• Most of the token Volume sent to Osmosis from Axelar is axlUSDC and it makes up over 90% of the volume.
• Since August, there has been a consistent growth in volume sent from Axelar to Osmosis.
• In terms of transactions to Osmosis, the AXL token is the most active.

Observations

• The vast majority of IBC transfers and volume of axlUSDC from OSMO are to AXL.
• Starting in July Evmose axlUSDC has dropped off a lot.
• Most days there has been between 500K and 1 Million of axlUSDC transfer volume from OSMO

Axelar Token Activity on Osmosis

Observations

• Each day there are 2K - 3K users swapping Axelar tokens on Osmosis.
• On most days since May, there have been between 100 and 500 liquidity providers on Osmosis.
• The axlUSDC - OSMO pool is the most active pool in terms of swapping activity and users
