Osmosis is a decentralized peer-to-peer blockchain that people can use to create liquidity and trade IBC enabled tokens. The Osmosis blockchain is made up of free, public, and open-source software.

• We will look to find users who have received the initial Osmosis airdrops.

• We are looking to see how these users have used the Airdrop they received.

Observations

Most of the users who claimed Osmosis airdrops claimed the airdrops in the first week of the airdrops being live, but most days there has been over 20 users claiming airdrops since. Additionally in the first 3 days of the airdrop being live there were over 1 Million OSMO claimed by users.

Observations

The trasactions executed by Airdrop recipients have stayed very consistant before and after earyl december. About half of all the transactions executed by OSMO Airdrop recipients are message and tx transactions. Swapping only make up about 2% of the activity of Airdrop recipients on OSMO where transfers make up about 14%.

Conclusion

In the first 3 days of the airdrop being live there were over 1 Million OSMO claimed by users. half of all the transactions executed by OSMO Airdrop recipients are message and tx transactions. The behavior of the airdrop recipients on OSMO shifted a lot in early December 2022 at this time these users started spending and receiving coins for about 30% of their transactions.
