    Saber is the first automated market maker optimized for trading pegged assets on Solana. The protocol enables Solana users and applications to efficiently trade between stable pairs of assets, as well as earn yields by providing liquidity to the platform.

    What is veSBR

    The saber DAO's voting mechinism was designed baced on how the Curve DAOs govenace works. veSBR is votelocked saber that allows holder to vote in governance and earn rewards from the protocol. Locking SBR for longer periods (5yr maximum) grants the token holder more voting power - more say in which liquidity pool gets the most SBR rewards. Once votes are cast and the next epoch begins, the new rewards distribution is applied to the liquidity pools. 1 epoch = 1 calendar week.

    The graph above shows the daily amount of SBR that is Vote locked each day and is also broken up by epoc. This graph shows that the amount of SBR deposited each epoc spikes in one day and that amount has been increasing for the first 5 epochs.

    The graph above shows the top 20 SBR vote locker by total deposit amount. The graph shows that there is a huge rage in the top depositors with one depositor making up the vast majority to total Vote locked SBR.

    The Graph above graph shows the number of deposits by the top SBR lockers. The data shows that most of these users have only locked their SBR once and 4 of them have done it more than once.

    Conclusion

    Each voting period there has been more SBR vote locked than in the the last the largest depositors have not been relocking their rewards for the most part with only 20% of the largest holders locking their SBR more than one time.
