    What is Fuse Pool?

Fuse is Rari Capital’s permissionless, isolated interest rate pools that supports isolated interest rate pools, allowing pool creators to create customisable isolated interest rate money markets of any assets and allowing users to lend and borrow digital assets.

The protocol allows users to choose all of their custom parameters and isolate risk, rather than using a large lending and borrowing pool on other platforms. Pools can be made public or private depending on the creator’s preference.

    1. Which is Fuse Pools used by DAI Vaults?

The conditions to find these pools are:

    • contract_address= '0xafd2aade64e6ea690173f6de59fc09f5c9190d74' (this is the DAI Rari Pool Controller)
    • event_name = 'PoolAllocation' (this shows the nature of this type of transaction).

Looking at the chart, pool 100, 101 and 102 have the high transaction amount and number of transactions. In addition, there is a decrease in the pool allocation over time. The amount of token allocated to pool reached a peak in Jan, 2022 and then declined significantly until now. It is inevitable due to Crypto Market Crash.

    • contract_address= '0x66f4856f1bbd1eb09e1c8d9d646f5a3a193da569' (this is the USDC Rari Pool Controller)
    • event_name = 'PoolAllocation' (this shows the nature of this type of transaction).

Looking at the charts, pool 101 has the highest number of transactions and amount. Overall, there is also a decrease in the pool allocation over time. Similarly, the amount of token allocated to pools reached a peak in Jan, 2022 and then declined significantly until now. It is inevitable due to Crypto Market Crash.

To check the pools used by DAI and USDC Vaults, I search the name of pool number by querying example transaction and searching via etherscan.

As a result, list of DAI pools : pool 1: Compound, pool 2: Aave Protocol, pool 100: Tetranode, pool 101: Tetranode ETH, pool 102: Olympus Pool Party. List of USDC pools: pool 1: Compound, pool 2: AAVE, pool 100: Fuse R4 , pool 101: Tetranode ETH, pool 102: Yield USD Coin, pool 103: WOO, pool 104: Cartesian, pool 106: PoolTogether, pool 108: Olympus Pool Party, pool 109: Fuse-6.

These pools are used by DAI vault and USDC vault: Compound, Aave Protocol, Tetranode ETH, Olympus Pool Party. However, USDC vault accounted for the higher amount in Fuse pools than DAI. The number of pools used by USDC vault is also higher than DAI vaults as the charts show.
