Comparison Across vs Hop Protocol vs Synapse - Last 90 days
What is Across Protocol?
The Across Protocol, developed by UMA, is based on an optimistic oracle machine that enables two-way transactions across Ethereum layers 1 and 2. It combines Optimism oracles, repeaters, and single-sided liquidity pools to allow for quick, cross-chain, decentralized transactions. Currently, the ACX works with the Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon networks.
To transfer tokens from one blockchain to another quickly and cheaply, users can borrow liquidity from decentralized repeaters with the help of the Across Protocol (layers). A repeater can pre-pay a user to facilitate instantaneous chain transfers.

Observations
- ACX Token airdrop claim metrics are shown above.
- Only 3.54 million of the 125 million $ACX available in the airdrop have been claimed.
- This means that 2.83 percent of all available ACX tokens have been claimed, or that 121.5 million $ACX tokens are unclaimed in total.
- The vast majority of $ACX Tokens were claimed within the first hour of the token's availability.

Observations
- The key information of Across Protocol in the last 90 days are as below
- 15k bridge transactions, larger than Synapse and lower than Hop Protocol
- 10K bridger, larger than Synapse and lower than Hop Protocol
- $59M bridged amount, lower than both Synapse and Hop protocol
- 7.47M TVL, much less than that of Hop Protocol and Synapse
- Arbitrum accounts for the majority of bridge transactions on Hop and Synapse and accounts for a large number of transactions on Across Protocol
- For number of bridgers and amount of bridgers, Arbitrum is also the most popular chain on all bridge protocol
- The TVL of across protocol is much lower than Hop protocol and Synapse.
