Active wallets could be defined as any wallet address that has made any transaction. To find out the number of active wallet on Terra, we will count the number of unique tx_from (wallet address that initiated the transaction) from terra.transactions table.

We will look at 3 graphs

• daily active address (year-to-date)
• weekly active address
• monthly active address

• Number of active addresses has been slowly trending upward since the start of the year from average of ~40k to ~50k unique addresses per day in April.

• Number of weekly active addresses has been trending up, especially since Oct'21 where active addresses grew by twice from 100k to 200k active weekly address.

• Number of monthly active address has been trending up as well. However, the rate of growth seems to have slowed since Jan'21 average at about 500k-600k active address per month.

Conclusion

Overall, it the number of active addresses are growing steadily since Terra blockchain started but it seems that the growth have slowed down since start of the year.
