What is Wormhole?

• Wormhole is a generic message passing protocol that connects to multiple chains including Ethereum, Solana, Terra, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Oasis, and Fantom. Wormhole does this through emitting messages from one chain which are observed by a Guardian network of nodes and verified. After verification, this message is submitted to the target chain for processing. This simple message passing primitive enables cross chain functionality. Users interact with xDapps (cross chain decentralized applications) to transfer xAssets (cross chain assets) between networks or access their xData (cross chain data) to provide them services on their current network. On top of the Wormhole message protocol, there’s two specific applications that help concentrate liquidity for xAssets. The Portal Token Bridge and Portal NFT Bridge provide a standard message format for token and NFT transfers across the Wormhole bridge.

• Q1. Create a visualization of the volume of assets being bridged from Ethereum to Solana over time via Wormhole. What does the average profile / size of wallets bridging to Solana from Ethereum look like (what is the average value of assets being bridged over)? What have been the most popular bridged assets from Ethereum to Solana and has that changed over time?

Method

• For solve this question I use Ethereum schema and ez_token_transfers table.

Conclusion

• Scholeum (SCLM) = (0x82081822932CF22E39d2fBeC8047fEb6117CD2F6) had most volume of assets that bridged from Ethereum to Solana with have 31% proportion of all.
• Baby Doge Coin (BabyDoge) = (0xAC57De9C1A09FeC648E93EB98875B212DB0d460B) had second after Scholeum with about 30% of all proportion and just 1% under first.
• SHIBA INU (SHIB) = (0x95aD61b0a150d79219dCF64E1E6Cc01f0B64C4cE) had third after Scholeum and Baby Doge Coin with about 28% of all proportion.
• THN token have about 64% of all proportion average value token transfer from Ethereum to Solana and after it, CHN is second with about 30% of all proportion.
• In 5 of 10 month, USDC = (0xa0b86991c6218b36c1d19d4a2e9eb0ce3606eb48) was most popular token in Wormhole bridge for Bridge from Ethereum to Solana.
• In 4 of 10 month, UST = (0xa693B19d2931d498c5B318dF961919BB4aee87a5) was popular in Wormhole for transfer from Ethereum to Solana and on May had most amount of transactions and popularity by far compare to another tokens that led another month popular token.
• In only one month USDT = (0xdac17f958d2ee523a2206206994597c13d831ec7) was popular in Wormhole for transfer from Ethereum to Solana.
