What Is Optimism (OP)?

Optimism (OP) is a layer-two blockchain on top of Ethereum. Optimism benefits from the security of the Ethereum mainnet and helps scale the Ethereum ecosystem by using optimistic rollups. That means transactions are trustlessly recorded on Optimism but ultimately secured on Ethereum.

Overview

I want to answer following questions:

• Total Number of Optimism Users.
• Total Amount of Fee that Optimism users spent.
• Failed transactions rate.
• Total Number of Transaction.

Method

• For solve this question I use Optimism schema and fact_event_logs and fact_transactions table.

Conclusion

• Optimism had experience about 238K Users since inception.
• Optimism experienced rate of failed transaction with about 7% since inception.
• Optimism experienced about 3.3M transactions since inception and most number of daily transaction was in 27th Jun with about 141K transactions.
• A User (0x04234893acac5096f4a1ad8fd952cc98b8c8ff46) had about 18% proportion of all Swap transactions since inception.
• A User (0x04234893acac5096f4a1ad8fd952cc98b8c8ff46) had about 18% proportion of all Transfer transactions since inception.
• Transfer has about 36% proportion of all transactions.
• It seems more daily transactions does not effect on fee of transactions it seems fee more take effect from Ethereum fee.
