What is FLOW?

Flow is a fast, decentralized, and developer-friendly blockchain, designed as the foundation for a new generation of games, apps, and the digital assets that power them. It is based on a unique, multi-role architecture, and designed to scale without sharding, allowing for massive improvements in speed and throughput while preserving a developer-friendly, ACID-compliant environment.

Approach and methodology

This report analyses a number of issues related to the NFT market in Flow. In particular, it will analyse:

1) Sales volume on Flow since May 9th.

2) Which NFT projects are trending on Flow right now and what is the general trend of NFT sales over the last month?

3) Do the projects that are trending seem to have common wallets or is there not much crossover between buyers/sellers?

All data used are obtained from the flow.core.fact_nft_sales table.

Flow NFT sales volume

• This chart represents the daily volume of NFT sales on Flow and it's cumulative count.
• The day with most sales was on May 26th with 57,329k sales.
• We can say that from May 9th until May 27th the NFT sales volume was higher than May 28th onwards.

General trend of NFT collections

• This chart represent the number of sales by each NFT collection since May 9th.
• TopShot Collection clearly stands out from the others with 675,581k sales.
• TOP 3 collections by sales volume are:

1. TopShot
2. AllDay
3. UFC_NFT

• TopShot represents more than 75% of sales since May 9th.
• The TOP 3 has had more than 90% of the sales volume.

Crossover between buyers/sellers of TOP 3 NFT collections

• This chart represents the number of sellers/buyers of TOP 3 NFT collections since May 9th.
• As expected, TopShot is having much higher values than the other collections

• Only 458 wallets are common buyers from TopShot, AllDay, UFC_NFT collections.
• 1856 wallets are common sellers from TopShot, AllDay, UFC_NFT collections.

Conclusions

1- We have been able to have a look into the NFT sales volume of each NFT collection since May 9th.

2- We analysed TOP 3 NFT collections by sales volume and we calculated the number of common sellers/buyers between the TOP 3 collections.

3- There seems to be a link between the first 3 projects and their buyers/sellers. However, it does not seem that this correlation is determinant and needs to be highlighted in case it may disrupt the NFT swapping market.
