What is Flow?
Flow is a blockchain designed to function with high scalability without using sharding techniques. With this, users on the blockchain can carry out cheap and fast transactions. The blockchain was designed explicitly for dApps that need a very high scaling like NFT platforms. Crypto play to earn games have also tapped into the usage of the blockchain, providing its users with a swift gaming experience. Dapper Labs created the blockchain after a few issues surrounding congestion on its previous blockchain, Ethereum. The blockchain now hosts an array of crypto games, including the NBA Top Shot, a game that its parent company developed. Developers who intend to create dApps can also tap the blockchain due to its high scalability and swift performance

Methodology:
In this dashboard I am going to be looking at a handful of different things. I will start with a search tool which allows you to see the most popular moments by team and by player (more description below). I will also be looking at sales trends over time as well as the most popular types of NFTs being sold across team, player, rarity, and position. Then I will do an analysis on both sellers and buyers to get a sense for how much the average buyer and seller are buying and selling. Lastly I will look at the price of NFL All Day NFTs across multiple metrics to get a sense of the market. I will discuss all these metrics in detail and point out any insights and conclusions I find to be important.

Analysis:
If we look at the first graph on the left we can see that sales peaked at the very begging of the release of the NFL All Day NFTs and after that seemed to have a steady decline reaching lows of nearly 10k in volume by mid July. After that though it seems that the sales volume began to ramp up slightly and then began to really ramp up around August 4th when the NFL preseason began. After that it continued on that trend until around August 19th where it reached peaks of 350k sales volume in a single day. We see a steady decline after that although this is likely to change when the real season starts. If we move onto the graph on the right we can see similar trend as we see earlier with many peaks and valleys at roughly the same times. It seems that sales tend to stay at somewhat consistent prices over time as the trends follow almost exactly the same across total volume and total sales with no real irrational spikes in which the two deviate, which would indicate a very large purchase. Overall it seems that sales are on somewhat of a decline as of recent but that could change soon with the start of the NFL season in the near future.
Analysis:
If we look at the first metric in the top left corner we can see that the most popular team in NFL All Day moments is the Green Bay packers likely due to Brett Favre who has many impressive moments. besides the Packers many of the other top 10 teams seem to have sold somewhat similar volume with a range of anywhere between 340k-600k in volume. If we move onto the metric in the top right corner we can see the total volume sold by moment rarity as well as the total moments sold for each of these rarities. As you can see the most moments and most volume have been sold of the common rarity this is likely because these are the cheapest moments and thus the most users are willing to pay for them. As we move onto rare moments we can see that although they have sold much less they still have large volume which is likely because they are slightly more expensive. Next if we look at the legendary moments we can see that very few of them have been sold in comparison to rare and common moments although the volume is still large because these moments can get very expensive. Finally if we move onto Ultimate moments we can see that only 4 have been sold. This highlights that the majority of users are shying away from these expensive moments as they appear to be somewhat to expensive. It seems that the model favors selling more cheaper moments then the more expensive moments as more volume is generated the lower the rarity you go. If we move onto the metric in the bottom left corner we can see the most volume in moments has been sold where the player is “N/A” this is interesting to note as you would figure out particular player would take this spot. The second largest though is Brett Favre which highlights why the Packers are the largest in terms of sales as his moments seem to be generating a lot of there volume. Moving onto the final metric in this section we can see the types of plays that are the most popular and have sold the most volume, it appears the two that lead by a large margin are reception and pass which is interesting because the most popular players tend to be wide receivers and quarter backs which correlates to these types of players.
Analysis:
In this section we are going to look at the behavior of buyers and sellers of NFL All Day NFTs. First lets start on the top left we can see that the average buyer sells 8.94 NFTs and 331 in Volume, this average appears to be skewed as the wide majority of sellers have sold under 300 in total volume as seen in the distribution on the bottom left. It is likely that there are a few individuals who have sold large amounts of these NFTs which are moving the average up greatly. If we move onto the metrics on the right side we can see the behavior of the buyers. Once again this distribution appears to be skewed as the majority of users have sold under 200 in total volume yet that average is 278. This is likely due to the same situation where a few buyers are buying large amounts of NFTs thus skewing the average.
Analysis:
The average sales price of NFL All Day NFT is much larger than the median sales price of these NFTs meaning that the distribution is right skewed. This highlights that there are a few or possibility a lot of NFTs which are being sold for very large amounts thus skewing the average to be much greater. This means that the median is likely a better metric to look at in this case as it is resistant to outliers while the average is not. If we look at the graph on the right to we can see that the wide majority of these NFTs are being sold for less than 30 Flow highlighting once again that the distribution is skewed. It appears that as the price of the NFTs increase the less of them there are being sold for that price.
Conclusion:
- The sale and sales volume of NFL All Day NFTs was trending downwards from April 20th - July 16, but then began trending upward again at the start of the preseason on August 4th before and eventual trend back downward.
- The sales volume and sales of NFL All Day NFTs is likely to increase again at the start of the regular season as it did at the start of the preseason.
- The team with the largest total sales volume is the Green Bay Packers which is likely as a results of Brett Favre who has sold the most NFL All Day NFT volume out of any player.
- The lower the rarity of NFL All Day NFT moment the larger the total sales and the larger the sales volume highlighting that selling more moments at a lower cost may be better overall model as very few users are willing to buy the super expensive NFTs in the legendary and ultimate tiers, although these NFTs still do receive large volume.
- The Pass and the Reception are the two most popular play types which likely corresponds to the wide receiver and quarter back positions which tend to be the most popular.
- The wide majority of users are selling less volume in NFTs than the average meaning it is likely skewed by a few users selling very large volume of NFTs, the same is true for buyers.
- The distribution of price of NFL All Day NFTs is right skewed highlighting that a few NFTs that have been sold for very large price are bringing up the average, meaning the median is likely a better metric to look at to understand how expensive these NFTs tend to be.
Search Tool:
To use the search tool above fill in the team you would like in the Team_Name slot at the top and the player you would like in the Player_Name spot at the top, the defaults for these variables are currently set to the “New England Patriots” for the team and “Tom Brady” for the Player. When you type in a player name it will show you the most popular moments that player has ordering by total volume spent on those moments. It will also give you a link to view that moment and several statistic about that moment which include: Total volume sold, total sales, average sales price, max sales price, and min sales price. To the right of that you can see that same metrics but shown overall for that player across all of there moments in the NFL All Day NFT collection. If we move onto the Team_Name variable we will see that when we type in a team name we get the same breakdown but grouped by the team instead of the player. Overall this search tool helps find the most popular moments and associated statistic across player name and team name as well as the overall statistics associated with players and team in the NFL All Day NFT Collection.
