The past month has seen an influx of new protocols into the Terra ecosystem. In this dashboard, we will look the top 20 contracts invoked by users joining last 3 months and all the top 2 contract for the major protocols.

The new users data will be generated from the terra.transactions table, which contains transactions and wallets interacting in the transaction. By aggregating by individual wallets and finding the first transaction, then filtering for the last 90 days, we will get the new users over last 90 days.

Contract interactions can be filtered out by searching for module wasm/MsgExecuteContract. Any message sent using this module, involves a sender which the user and the contract which can be used to predict the protocol being interacted with. Filtering the new user only interactions, we get the following plots.

We will first find the top 20 contracts by transactions made.

• 5 Anchor contracts, make it to the list. All token contracts as well as the Liquidation and Overseer which maintains borrow records is called the most.
• From astroport, the Generator and UST pairs of ANC and LUNA make the cut
• 3 Arb contracts also make the cut
• MIR and LOOP tokens are make it.

Using transactions as the only metric, doesn't show the complete picture. This is because, bots swamp these transaction counts. This is evident as LOOP,MIR,ANC are extremely prominent, as these are farming tokens at their current status. Hence we will use user count too.

Using by user count, we see only primary protocols and proper contracts are being called alot more diversely:

• Anchor once again has 4 contracts, but this time Liquidation contract is replaced by the Market contract, which handles deposits and redeems of UST
• UST pairs of ANC and LUNA and bLUNA/LUNA stable pair are the prominent pairs, among the DEXes that make the list
• TNS is the surprise inclusion, suggesting TNS being seen as a identity in the Lunatic community
• LunaX inclusion means, liquid staking on Terra is being welcomed as people get tired of the 21 day unstaking
