Method :

Since ϾryptoPunks are ERC-20 tokens, the number of holders can be obtained from the ERC20_BALANCES table.
In order to be able to buy and sell ϾryptoPunks in the secondary markets, they must first be converted to the ERC-721 standard (Wrap). To track the transaction of these Punks, the contract 0xb7f7f6c52f2e2fdb1963eab30438024864c313f6 is used.
Punks can be sell and buy at Larva Labs, or buy them for PUNK tokens from the NFTX pool, or sell the Wrapped version on a secondary market like Opensea, in this analysis, buying and selling in secondary markets and Larva Labs market are considered
In this analysis, users who have three buy or sell Punks are considered as traders.
Since the transaction 0x92488a00dfa0746c300c66a716e6cc11ba9c0f9d40d8c58e792cc7fcebf432d0 was a fake transaction to increase the price, it was not considered in the analysis. [source]
