Pricing ASAs

Finding a market price for ASAs (Algorand Standard Assets) can be difficult at times due to the lack of prices being listed on sites like CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko. 1.Pick a single day in the last 30 days and find the top 5 most and least expensive ASAs 2.Pick an hour in that day and visualize the distribution of prices across all ASAs for that hour. 3.Find the top 10 ASAs by volume in the last 90 days *.Which had the highest average volatility? *.Which was the most swapped?

Method :

In this dashboard, I will analyze Algorand ASA's price in single day and find most and least expensive ASAs in that day.
I'll look at hour,day,3 month month time frame.
I Pick 5-5-2022 date for the analyze.

1. Find the top 5 most and least expensive ASAs.

I chose the date 5-5-2022 for this analysis, on this date, as shown in the chart below, the most expensive ASSETs are goBTC, goETH, Green, nCoinex and Meld Gold, respectively.

gBTC, gETH are matched symbols of ETH and BTC and are priced the same as the original coins.

1.1 Visualize the distribution of prices across all ASAs At a specific time

The chart below shows the price of ASAs in 2022-5-5 at 12:00, as it is clear that goBTC, goETH and Green had the highest prices.

2. Top 10 ASAs by volume in the last 90 days.

AlgoScout* had the highest trading volume in the last 90 days with more than 31 billion transactions, followed by ALGO with 136 million and USDC with 134 million. The chart shows that the volume of transactions in Stablecoin has been high, which could be due to falling prices and users' desire to save capital.

To get the volatility of these assets, I compared their price 90 days ago to their current price to see which one had more volatility. PLANET with 85% drop in price and Yieldly with 83% drop had the highest volatility in the last 90 days, goBTC had the lowest volatility with 13%.

Algo has also dropped in price by about 40%.
