In this dashboard, I will review Realms DAOs. For each of the following DAOs, I obtain the following parameters such as Number of Members (assuming unique voters is what he means here), Total Votes, Total Votes by Vote Choice, Total Voters by Vote Choice, Total Votes by Vote Choice, Number of Proposals, Date of Last Proposal, Date of Creation:

What is a DAO?

At its simplest, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) is a community with a shared bank account. Members of the DAO make decisions in a transparent and decentralized fashion, with smart contracts executing these decisions.

For instance, a member can create a proposal suggesting an investment of the treasury or a program upgrade. The DAO members then come together to vote on the proposal. If a predefined quorum votes for the proposal to pass, the proposal is accepted and and executed by a smart contract.

As a result, the DAO structure provides a “flat” organizational structure. Each DAO member has a voice in the community and the opportunity to drive the direction of the organization.

Solana Realms

Realms provides a platform for builders on Solana to create a DAO, manage their members, vote on proposals, and allocate their treasury. Whether you are running a multisig, NFT community DAO, or community token DAO, Realms has the tools and integrations to help your community flourish.

Realms serves as the frontend for SPL Governance, a DAO-type and asset-type agnostic standard for building and maintaining DAOs on Solana.

Getting Started

To start, we go to the solana.core.fact_proposal_votes table. This is because when a space is created in Realms, it is assigned a general program ID unless the smart contract is customized. So, the requested information should be checked using the REALMS_ID column. By joining with the solana.core.dim_labels table, we can get the name of each DAO, but for the reason mentioned, some DAOs whose information needs to be obtained are registered with the name of realms 'general contract'. For this reason, the names of Grape DAO, The Imperium of Rain and Synthetify have been entered manually according to the REALMS ID of each. Name and REALMS_ID of these 3 DAOs are given below.

As shown, Mango DAO had the highest number of proposals, but the highest number of votes and the highest number of voters did not belong to Mango DAO. Grape DAO has the highest number of votes with 2861 votes and The Imperium of Rain has the highest number of voters with 1422 voters. In the graphs related to vote choice, the number of "YES" and "NO" votes recorded in each DAO is specified.

Also, the date of creation of each DAO and the date of the last offer are also shown in two tables.

In the charts below, all the parameters mentioned above are shown in the time frames of the last 90 days and the last 30 days. As we can see, out of 19 reviewed DAOs, only 16 of them have created a proposal in the last 90 days, and only 10 DAOs have created a proposal in the last 30 days. In the last 90 and 30 days, MankeDAO has had the highest number of proposals. In the last 90 days Grape DAO and in the last 30 days The Imperium of Rain have the most votes. Also, The Imperium of Rain has the most voters in the last 90 and 30 days

In these three charts, the number of active proposals, the number of votes and the number of voters are shown monthly for each DAO.
