A deeper look at NBA Top Shots, this time for Play Types.
In this dashboard, we will review Top Shots NFTs based on Play Type. This analysis includes two general parts.
- First part: general review of sales (in terms of number of transactions, number of NFTs, sales volume, number of sellers and buyers)
- Second part: Exclusive review for those Play Types that have the highest volume of sales.
Two important points should be noted in the obtained results.
- All payments for buying and selling Top Shot have been made through two tokens, Flow and Dapper Utility Coin. Due to the small volume of Flow tokens and for simplicity in calculations, we have considered only transactions that were paid with Dapper Utility Coin.
- The first transaction in the Flipside tables is related to the date 2022-04-20 and all the results obtained from this date onwards.
Getting started:
Let's start with the number of daily transactions with the number of buyers and NFT sales volume with the number of unique NFTs sold. As we can see; in the number of transactions, the number of buyers, The number of NFTs and sales volume in the chart shows a downward trend. In the chart of "Daily Sales Volume & Number of NFTs", the pattern of sales volume and number of unique NFTs is almost the same on most days. This can indicate that every day according to the sales volume, a certain number of NFTs are not sold and almost a large number of unique NFTs are exchanged.
The charts below show the number of sellers and buyers, the total number of NFTs sold and the volume of NFTs sold per "Play Types". As we can see, Rim NFTs are at the top of all charts. So far, approximately 26,539K unique sellers and 17,693K unique buyers have sold and bought Rim NFTs.
In general, Rim NFTs account for approximately 22.5% of buyers, followed by Assist with nearly 17.1%. In terms of the number of unique NFTs sold, Rim is also at the top. Rim NFTs accounted for the most NFTs traded with a unique 104,132K NFTs, accounting for approximately 40.6% of all NFTs sold.
In paid Dapper Utility Coins, Rim NFTs are also leading. The total transaction volume of Rim NFTs is approximately 3M Dapper Utility Coin, which is approximately 1.7M for 3 Pointer, which is the second largest NFT in terms of Dapper Utility Coin paid volume. That is, approximately 36.5% of Dapper Utility Coins paid for Rim NFTs transactions.
In the charts below, we see the sales volume, the number of unique NFTs and the number of unique buyers on a weekly basis and based on Play Type. We can see that Rim NFTs are at the top of the charts in almost all weeks (except for special weeks), both in terms of the number of buyers and the number of unique NFTs, as well as in terms of the volume of NFTs sold.
Also, in the "Cumulative Daily Sales Volume" chart, we can see that the volume of RIM NFTs is on the rise with a steeper slope than other NTFs. All these things indicate that Rim NFTs are much more popular than other NFTs.
Now that we have seen that Rim NFTs have received the most attention, we will check the details of Rims on a daily basis. The charts below show the volume of sales, the number of buyers and sellers, number of transactions and the number of unique Rim NFTs on a daily basis.
