==Here we come to compare 4 main Factors between Arbitrum and Optimism==

    > ## So What are those factors.

    1. Total amount and daily transactions both on Arbitrum and Optimism.
    2. ETH transactions volume base on USD value and amount of ETH transacted on Arbitrum and Optimism.
    3. Accounts have transaction in total and weekly manner on Arbitrum Vs Optimism.
    4. Top contracts base on transactions and ETH TVL on Arbitrum Vs Optimism.

    Be Noticed:

all bellow provided data is time limited, since 2022-06-15 up to 2022-08-31

    > ## Transactions inside a network show activities users do while using the network. in a simple description a transaction is when one person gives a designated amount of cryptocurrency they own to another person.

So in order to compare total number of transactions on Arbitrum and Optimism we see:

whole number of transaction recorde on Arbitrum is 8.12M but in other hand optimism has recorded 8.59M whole number of transactions which is a bit higher than Optimism.

There is so less deference between both obviously it shows both are trusted by users + same transaction speed.

In addition the chart graph bellow shows:

    • 11th of July is new floor on Arbitrum and Optimism transactions’ volume meanwhile whole crypto market specially Ethereum price recorded new floor at same day. as an outcome transaction volume on Arbitrum and Optimism act as parallel line with cryotos’ price.
    • Optimism daily transactions volume ask well than Arbitrum and such deference shows having Op coin by Optimism network is the only reason.

==Here we are going to see:==

    • Total ETH transactions based on USD value and ETH.

    • Total ETH transactions on Arbitrum is 5M Ethereum higher than total ETH transactions on Optimism.

But when we come to USD value total transactions base on USD$ value on Optimism is 0.52B higher than Arbitrum, so the question is why ETH and USD value is not parallel on both?

    • the answer is transactions have been done in deference times meanwhile ETH had deferent price

    • Active accounts which had transactions in this period of time is shown on right and left sides.

    • these numbers shows unique wallets on Arbitrum is higher than Optimism. the deference is 171K.

the chart graphs above are going to explain:

    • The left above chart graph belongs to Arbitrum weekly active users. it shows 27th of June that coincides to new up trend after new floor on whole crypto market is shown high activity on Arbitrum as well.

    • So the right above chart graph shows the same but beside that 25th of July has recorded higher active accounts’ transactions. obviously it is cause of Op coin rising price.

Now we are going to look at top contracts on Arbitrum and Optimism.

    Arbitrum vs. Optimism

While Arbitrum and Optimism are both classified as Optimistic rollups, they do have a few fundamental differences.

For one, they utilize a different dispute-resolution process to validate transactions. Optimism uses single-round fraud proofs executed on layer-1, whereas Artibrum uses muli-round fraud proofs executed off-chain. Arbitrum’s multi-round fraud proofing is the more advanced of the two, with it being cheaper and more efficient than single-round proofing.

Also, while Optimism and Arbitrum are both EVM compatible, Optimism uses Ethereum’s EVM, whereas Arbitrum runs its own Arbitrum Virtual Machine (AVM). This results in Optimism having only a Solidity compiler, while Arbitrum supports all EVM compiled languages (Vyper, Yul, etc).
