Let's look at the Algorand Period 2 Governance Rewards Payouts

1. How many reward payments were sent? And what was the total amount of ALGO rewards paid out?
2. How much time elapsed from the first to the last rewards payment?
3. What wallet had the largest rewards payout and how much did they receive?
4. Create a plot to show the distribution of rewards payouts.

Methodology

1. In this dashboard, I will show how many reward payments were sent and what was the total amount of ALGO rewards paid out during "Governance Period 2 Payouts".
2. I will calculate how much time elapsed from the first to the last of rewards payment in minutes.
3. I will show the top 3 wallets based on the largest rewards payout and show the amount of ALGO.
4. Based on the amount of payout in ALGO, I consider several groups and display the number of sallets who have received the payouts in each group.

In the above chart, I show the number of reward payments sent per minute by the reward distributer wallet.

As we see, the reward distributer wallet starts to send the reward on 16:49 of April 5 and finished sending on 17:04 of the same day. It has made 3,500 transactions in most minutes.

The chart above also shows the amount of rewards in ALGO were sent per minute.

At 16:54 it sent over 33.74M ALGOs to wallets and this is a huge amount.

It took only 15 minutes from the start of the rewards to the end.

I find the top 3 wallets based on the reward amount.

• The 1st one is WC6M5...IMCAYZ4 with over 3.48M ALGO rewarded.
• The 2nd one is CBOQN...5E6YPRQ with over 2.45M ALGO rewarded.
• The 3rd one is B23XL...HMDXPMQ with over 2.25M ALGO rewarded.

I defined the ranges based on the amount of rewards received and counted the number of wallets that received the rewards in each range and displayed it in the chat above.

Most wallets received between 0 to 5 ALGOs. It's about 10.96K wallets.
