    The # of NFT sales

As we see from the daily chart, NFTs are sold based on 2 currencies, OP and ETH. But the number of sales of NFTs based on OP is very small and since June 30th, there have been no sales for 1 month with this currency.

After July 25th, a strong growth trend of NFT sales by ETH started and reached its peak on July 27th. On that date, 2,100 NFTs were sold, and after that date, we see a drop in the purchase of NFTs again.

The total number of NFT sales in this period was 19,100 sales.

    Methodology

In this dashboard, I will show the total # of NFT sales per day and in total. Then I’ll show # of unique sellers and buyers per day and also in total for both. The next section is related to the amount of NFT sold (in USD).

In the end, I will show the Top 20 collections based on # of sales and the Top 20 collections based on the amount (in USD) of sales.

Note: Data in optimism tables are from June 15, 2022, so charts in this dashboard also from that date to the current date.

    The # of unique sellers

The NFT sellers prefer ETH rather than OP. Since June 15, number of sellers was 40 times greater in ETH and this difference increased exponentially in the next days. Even though few numbers of sellers in OP diminished completely at the end of June due to the Optimism's Quixotic hack and all unique sellers chose ETH. while the number of sellers was having a downward trend after June 9, on June 27, unique sellers starkly peaked from 315 to 1397. The number dropped again in the next few days.

The total number of unique sellers in this period was 5710.

    The # of unique buyers

Unlike seller graph, number of buyers on Quixotic didn’t have a stable and almost upward trend. There are many ups and downs in the graph. Starting with a spike on June 16 with 622 unique buyers for ETH and 14 for OP, the graph dropped by 74% in next day. The number of buyers in OP is still much more fewer than ETH and completely stopped at the end of June.

The unique buyers decreased to only 1 on July 2 and it could peak later on July 27 to 539. Overall, the chart trend is not predictable.

The total number of unique buyers in this period was 6.81k.

    The volume of sales ($USD)

The volume of NFT sales doesn’t have a stable trend but the average is usually around $4000 per day. On June 23 and 24, although we did not have many sales, the volume of sales was very high and the NFTs were sold at a high price.

This also applies to July 1. On this date, the number of buyers and sellers was less compared to other days, but we had the largest sales volume of the entire period (over $25k). On July 2, with only 1 sale, the volume was $5 by ETH. The amount of sold NFT is mostly by ETH and OP was at least 53 times smaller.

The total amount of NFT sold in USD in this period was 293k.
