Quixotic is the largest NFT marketplace on the Ethereum layer-2 platform Optimism.

It boasts an average transaction fee of just 0.0005 ETH ($1.50), making the platform much more usable for most NFT traders. The firm estimates it has saved its members around $2 million in gas fees since its inception.

On-chain tracking shows the platform turned over $419,500 in volume over the last 30 days, but user activity has declined significantly since June 14.

There has been 124 distinct NFT collections on Quixotic from its day one.

The highest number of NFT collections were in the last week of June.

In total view, on July, more number of collections were traded in comparison with June.

As mentioned before, 124 NFT collections had been on Quixotic, these 124 collections contain 12.97 K NFTs in total.

The most number of NFTs were traded in the last week of July with more than 6900 NFTs, while in other weeks this number was less than 1500(except first and last week of July)

Although the highest number of NFTs traded and sales were in the last week of July, but the highest volume(USD) of sales were traded on the third week of June and first week of July respectively.

The lowest number of sales and volume of sale was on the last week of June.

In total, more than 17.8 K sale were done on Quixotic which traded more than 264 K USD as volume of transactions.

The highest number of buyers and sellers were in the last week of the July(the same week with highest volume and count of sale), which number of sellers were more than buyers.

The lowest number of buyers and sellers were in the last week of June, the same week with lowest volume and count of sale.

Number of buyers were more than sellers in the first 3 weeks of the Quixotic activation, but after that number of buyers were less than sellers.

• “Hello World” and “Kasou-shin Genesis NFTs” were in the next rank of collections with highest number of NFTs.

• “Hello World” , “Oliens” and “Kasou-shin Genesis NFTs” were in the next rank of collections with highest number of sales.

• “Hello World” , “words” and “Bored Town” were in the next rank of collections with highest number of buyers.

• “Oliens” , “Bored Town” and “Apetimism” were in the next rank of collections with highest number of sellers.

Although “OptiPunks“ was not in none of top 4 for the selected parameters above, but it had the highest volume of sale(less than 89 K USD) in comparison with other collections.

Apetimism with about 68 K usd in volume of sale, was in the second rank.

Volume of sale for the next two collections were less than 1/5 volume sale for the first two collections.
