MonkeDAO Whale Voters

A month ago, the MonkeDAO pressed the Solana Monkey Business team for various changes to be made to the royalty and NFT structure to foster growth for the collection. Ultimately this resulted in the first NFT on-chain vote on Solana to accept or reject the SMB team's proposal, with a 'no' likely resulting in a separation of the two groups. In the end, the MonkeDAO voted to unify with the SMB team and to grow their relationship together.

    Method

In this dashboard I analyzed :
    1- Votes for 3 proposals
    2- How whales acted
3- What happened to NFTs after voting

    NFTs After The Voting

After the Voting, 4 "NO" votes sold their SMBs (4 SMBs in total). 3 of them used 'SMB Marketplace' and one of them used 'Magic Eden'

NOTE: Because the main votes were for First Proposal, I considered wallets and NFTs participated in that voting.

But on the other hand "YES" voters bought more SMBs (25 SMBs). Only 2 of the SMBs were bought on "Magic Eden" and the other 23 were on 'SMB Marketplace'.

    Concolusion

In the end, Users voted YES for the First proposal and Airdrop for the Third proposal.
In both of those votes, whales had the highest number of NFTs voted and this shows how they can choose the direction of projects.
