NBA Top Shot allows users to buy, sell, and collect NBA NFTs that showcase influential “Moments” minted on the FLOW blockchain. Some Moments are rarer than others, but the rarest versions are worth the most. Moments are minted in “Packs,” much like you'd expect from physical trading cards

Powered by Algorand, FIFA+ Collect is a new platform allowing fans to own and collect FIFA World Cup™ and FIFA Women’s World Cup™ moments.

First Week Sales Performance

🔎Summary:

• Volume: AllDAY collection has the best first week performance compared to others, but comparing Laliga to it’s closest collection which is FIFA+, it performed about 30% better in sales.

• Number of Sales: similar results as previous metric, AllDAY had the best performance and Laliga performed better than FIFA+.

• Unique Buyers: in this metric FIFA+ performed slightly less than Laliga collection and interestingly TopShot collection fell behind all other collection despite performing better in previous metrics.

• Highest Sale: TopShot and FIFA+ experienced a similar most expensive sale on their first week of launch and Laliga collection has the lowest performance in this section with a 2K NFT sale.

• Average Sale Price: Laliga and FIFA performed similarly just as how TopShot and AllDAY experienced a similar average sale price.

• Median Sale Price: FIFA+ and NFL Allday performed exactly like each other at 17$ , Laliga and Topshot followed with 10 and 8$ respectively.

for AllDay, TopShot & LaLiga Golazos i used flipside’s flow.core.ez_nft_sales joined with flow.core.dim_allday_metadata tables in my analysis.

To Analyse Algorand NFTs i used algorand.nft.ez_nft_sales_fifa table.

Performance Through the Launch Week

🔎Summary: as we can see on the charts below Laliga Golazos experienced a massive growth of volume in the first two days since it’s launch but lost momentum after that, FIFA+ also experienced a same market behaviour; but in contrast, NBA Topshot continuously saw growth and NFL allday in other experienced decline through the week but maintained a considerable volume nonetheless.

Verdict:

LaLiga Golazos might not be as successful as Dapper Labs’ other marketplaces in terms of volume but it performed very well in other metrics and outperformed FIFA+ collect in most cases. specially in the 3rd day of launch which is the day after the Brazil’s WC match against Switzerland we see a massive increase in all Market Matrics of Laliga Golazos.
