The Battle of the Solana NFT Aggregator

Hyperspace and Coral Cube are the two most popular NFT aggregators on Solana. This means that they list all NFTs across different marketplaces along with allowing listings on their own marketplace. Create a dashboard comparing KPIs between Hyperspace and Coral Cube. Which marketplace has done more volume? Which collections are popular on each marketplace? Why would I use one marketplace over the other? Are there any noticeable market trends between the marketplaces, especially after Solana marketplaces moved to a 0% creator royalty?

Introduction

What is Coral Cube?

Coral Cube is the largest NFT Marketplace aggregator that is native to the Solana blockchain. This means that this platform aggregates all of the listings across different NFT Marketplaces on Solana and lists them on one easy to use interface.

What is Hyperspace?

The Solana NFT marketplace ecosystem is currently fragmented and inefficient, and Hyperspace solves this issue by allowing users to directly buy and sell their assets on Hyperspace itself or other Solana NFT marketplaces at no additional fee. As the variety and sheer number of NFTs on Solana grows, Hyperspace is positioned to become the choice platform for new and existing buyers and sellers.

Methodology

For answering the bounty question we use Solana tables.
Consider ‘hyperspace’ and ‘coral cube’.
And only successful transactions.
In the following, we will examine the:
1. General comparison
2. Daily sales/volume…
3. Daily New Buyers
4. Top Collections
5. Top Buyers
6. Top Sellers

Results

Here we see that Coral Cube has more than Hyperspace sales number, buyers number, SOL and USD volume.
Also Minimum and Maximum volume of Coral Cube is more than Hyperspace.
But Median(both SOL and USD) and Average volume of Hyperspace is more than Coral Cube.

On October 9 and 11, we can see the the largest number of Buyers and Sellers for Hyperspace and Coral Cube respectively.
The steps that can be seen in the cumulative chart due to the increase in the number of sales and volume.

We don't see any sign of hyperspace before September 22.
Almost before May the Daily sales number of Coral Cube is really low.
From May to June 10 we see increasing trend foe Coral Cube sales number after June 10 the trend decreasing and from July 7 we see a increasing trend for Coral Cube.
On October 11, we see the largest number of Coral Cube sales number.
On October 9, we see the largest number of hyperspace sales number.
On May 24, we see the highest SOL volume for Coral Cube.
Also on On October 9, we see the highest SOL volume of Hyperspace.
On May 24 and May 4, we have largest number of daily volume/sales for Coral Cube.
On October 18, we have largest number of daily volume/sales for Hyperspace.

Degods Collection has 59K (63.7% of top 10) sales volume in Hyperspace.
In the second and third place of top 10 Hyperspace collection sales volume we can see Y00ts and Abc .
Trippin’ Ape Tribe has 43K (30% of top 10) sales volume in Coral Cube.
In the second and third place of top 10 Coral Cube collection sales volume we can see Great Goats and Communi3.
We can see that sales volume of first Coral Cube collection is less than Hyperspace.
And we can see that in Hyperspace average of sales volume in collections (except first three collection) is under 1000 but in Coral Cube collection is under 5000 sales volume.

From May to mid-July we see the highest number of new buyers in Coral Cube.
On May 18, we have largest number of new buyers about 1952, in Coral Cube.
On October 9, we see 497 new buyers in Hyperspace and its the largest number of new buyers for Hyperspace.
Total number of new buyers in Coral Cube is about 58.3K and total number of new buyers in Hyperspace is about 5145.

Top Collections

Degods Collection has 1158 (28.7% of top 10) sales number in Hyperspace.
In the second and third place of top 10 Hyperspace collection sales number we can see Abc and Nakozuma NFT.
Pixel Brains has 6956 (25.3% of top 10) sales number in Coral Cube.
In the second and third place of top 10 Coral Cube collection sales number we can see 111Anons and Great Goats.
We can see that sales number in Coral Cube collection is more than Hyperspace.
