Swap Volume of Uniswap and Sushiswap

This dashboard shows the volume of swaps between uniswap-v2 and sushi each week starting from 28th of October 2020. Although Uniswap-v2 was launched in May 2020 and Sushiswap in August 2020, I decided to use a starting date in October so as to allow for maturity in the function of both DEXs. From the graph, we can see that the highest activity of Uniswap was on April 11 2022 with about 63 billion dollars volume and Sushiswap on May 17 2021 with around 10 billion worth. From the graph, it is seen that both DEXs always have a surge in activity together meaning that a higher number of users are swapping on both DEXs. Another obvious pattern is that Sushiswap has always been trailing Uniswap and it cannot be deducted from the graph when it is likely to surpass Uniswap in swap volume.
