Flow is a fast, decentralized, and developer-friendly blockchain, designed as the foundation for a new generation of games, apps, and the digital assets that power them. It is growing fast and are becoming one of the blockchians to look as a competence for the current top Layer 1 blockchians like Solana or Ethereum

In this dashboard it is explored the daily active wallets on each blockchain as well as the cumulative one. The basic intention of the dashboard is to show the user retention of Flow network and compared it with some important L1 blockchains.

The results are provided below with some interesting charts found.

Looking at the daily active wallets, it can be seen how the numbers are so low on Flow compared to Ethereum and Solana blockchains. While in Flow there are around 2k daily active users, on Solana are more than 200k and in Ethereum more than 350k.

The cumulative active users during the past week have been around 11k for FLow, 1.5M on Solana and 2.2M on Ethereum.

Considering the numbers obtained on the first approach, someone could think about that Flow may obtain the most percentage of retained users based on their low number of users joined daily.

However, looking at the final results, we can see how Flow is the worst in this case. While Solana is the most prominent with more than 30% of the user retention over the past week, Ethereum retained 19% of the users while Flow only 2.2%.

    Conclusions

Then, to conclude we can say that Flow are far from L1 top blockchains like Solana and Ethereum in terms of active daily users and also, and the most importan aspect, in user retention. If Flow wants to succeeded it needs to increase on that and try to achieve similar competence’s numbers.
