JLP Token Metrics
Description
The graphs above offer an insightful comparison between the market capitalization of the JLP token and the assets within the JLP pool. It's crucial to recognize that these pool assets do not present the full picture. The existence of liabilities, stemming from perpetual positions that are yet to be closed, impacts the pool's net value. Given that all positions are overcollateralized, these liabilities introduce a dynamic variability to the pool's overall financial status.
Description
The graphs above depict the weekly trading inflows and outflow volumes in USD from the JLP pool, highlighting cash gains and losses. For example, when a position is opened, it is marked as a gain equal to the collateral value. When a position is closed, it is noted as a loss for the residual value in the position. It's important to acknowledge that this data is slightly skewed positively, as it does not account for the value of all open positions, which, if closed at the current state, would represent losses for the pool.
