What is Algorand Governance

Since October 1st 2021, the Algorand ecosystem moved to a decentralized Governance model. The Community Governance enables all Algo holders to participate in the decision making process on the growth and development of the Algorand ecosystem.

Algorand Governance is splitted into two periods, Period 1 and Period 2.

In theory 7.87 Million wallets would be eligible today! In the past 2 governance periods, only 106,5k of wallets registered for governance. That is only 1.354%!

• How many wallets total is this?

• What percent of wallets committed to period 1?

• What percent of wallets committed to period 2?

What percent of wallets committed to period 1 & 2?

• How many wallets voted for period 1?
• What percentage of wallets commited also voted?
• What did they vote?

So most wallets voted for 3a followed closely by 3b. 1a and 1b got very less votes.

Conclusion

This 'easy' bounty was really hard to solve. The Algorand DB, new tables, ... and in many cases poor data. For a beginner like me hard to solve. I. know this dashboard is far from perfect, but it is my best shot ...
