On Feb 28, 2025 at 10:50 pm UTC, history was made on the Monad blockchain. The Monad team simultaneously enriched 5000 eager Monads and proved that 10,000 TPS wasn't just theoretically possible.

No, these numbers weren't just pulled out of my @. All this data is generated from querying the Flipside Monad.testnet
schema, which we all know should be treated as gospel. Check the little </> thingy.

Average TPS for Monad is higher than the average TPS in spite of significantly shorter lifetime!
And below you can see how it is Consistently outperforming the field across its entire history!
If we limit our analysis to the time since Monad went public, Monad outshines the field, yet again.
Looking at all-time hourly maximums, Monad has to settle for the silver medal.
However, only one chain, BSC, achieved speeds greater than Monad's hourly TPS.
Further examination reveals that BSC had a period in Dec of 2023, where they achieved quite a few high results. Then there is one more hour period in Feb of 2024 where they post an hour with over 400 TPS. Other than that....
None of the principle EVMs we have examined has had a single hour TPS compared to Monad's
