In this article i wanna take a look at top 5 Ethereum NFT marketplaces by USD volume traded .
At first in an early step i will identify top markets on first chart below .
Then , for each , i will take a precise look on
- Volume traded
- Total buyers
- Total sellers
- Total - Creator - Platform Fees
- Average amount spent on an NFT
- Maximum USD spent on an NFT
And at last i will look for top collections on each market .
Methodology :
I’ve used ==ethereum.core.ez_nft_sales table of flipside database for most information noticed in subjects .
An important point is i’ve chose ==last 30 days== for my analysis timeframe , although you ==can change it== to your preferred timespan by days as it is a parameter you can edit .
Now let’s get to first step :
Although ==Opensea== got the upper hand on NFT trades count yet the ==Blur== is main Ethereum market place due to hugely more amount traded than others following by ==Opensea== .

About larva labs :
Larva Labs is a software development company that's most famous for creating the CryptoPunks, a collection of digital characters that helped popularize NFTs. The CryptoPunks marketplace is on the Larva Labs website. It also has a marketplace for the team's other NFT project, Meebits.
🔎 Above charts Findings :
- As we all may know Opensea is most famous NFT marketplace on ethereum chain , we can see its first rank of trades , whether sell or buy by count yet Blur had most volume traded .
- It makes sense if we look at 6th chart which tells us about average price of NFTs traded . due to the wide range of collections on Opensea the average price is lower than other markets . the most expensive NFTs were on Larva Labs couse it only sales crypto punks which is one of the most costly collections .
- Meanwhile the biggest price paid for an NFT happened on Opensea for 212m USD .
- About Fee’s opensea had most fee received from transactions in total yet one of the cheapest in average . highest fee’s paid on looksrare .
Larva labs wont receive any fees on NFT trades . And Blur wont receive any platform fees but you should pay for creator fee .
