Introduction

LaLiga Golazos has entered the arena! LaLiga is Dapper Labs latest marketplace for digital moments of players; this past month, Dapper dropped the first LaLiga packs and opened up the secondary marketplace.

In this dashboard we see an analysis on this project and we will compare it to NFL All Day, NFL All Day and FIFA Collect+. First I will give a short description about these project and then we will explore more detail on charts.

LaLiga and Dapper Labs have launched 'Golazos', an official non-fungible token (NFT) platform for digital video collectibles based on iconic moments from Spanish soccer's top flight. Moments are digital video collectibles that you can own and sell. Each Moment has its own qualities, including how rare it is.

Laliga Golazo allows fans to buy and sell NFTs consisting of officially licensed footage involving LaLiga players and teams.

This release features Moments from 36 LaLiga stars who are facing the most important international event of their careers. Collect the goals, the skills, and the passion of your idols in an unrepeatable Drop that marks the highlight of the year for all football lovers. Musah, Benzema, Pedri, Griezmann, Kubo, Bono, Iñaki Williams, and many more… this is your chance to own the best of the best in World Stars!

NFL All Day is a company, owned and operated by Dapper Labs, that allows users to buy and collect digital football highlights from the NFL. The whole thing is backed by the NFL and all highlights are officially licensed by the league. Currently the only way to gain an NFL All Day highlight is by purchasing packs, but a marketplace is soon to be launched.

So what is it all exactly? With the use of the blockchain (you know, the computer stuff that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are based on), Dapper Labs created a digital collectible marketplace for NFL highlights. The use of Blockchain allows for these moments to be impossible to hack or even duplicate, which is the draw to these moments.

Think of it in the same vein as collectible cards. You own the physical copy of these cards. Someone else may have the same card, but you have your own specific version. That is almost exactly what these All Day highlights are. Owning a highlight, you own that version of the moment and you are the only one with that serial number.

NBA Top Shot is an NFT marketplace where sports fans can buy, sell and trade basketball video clips. Launched in 2020, NBA Top Shot is a partnership between the NBA and Dapper Labs, the creators of CryptoKitties. High-profile investors include the NBA legends Michael Jordan, Kevin Durrant and Klay Thompson.

FIFA+ is the entertainment experience from FIFA that is made for the fans. Playing the greatest football documentaries and films, through to live games and highlights, FIFA+ is free and always premium.

Method

Since the LaLiga Golazos has been lunched on November 28, 2022 we have data for less than two week. So I decided to analyze first week of it’s action and compare it to other projects. To do this I will be using flow.core database and especially ez_nft_sales table to show details about number of sales on first week and number of buyers, sale volume and so on. I have used dateadd() function to limit data timeframe from start of the project to next seven days after the lunch. Also I have used row_number() function to get numeric value of weekdays.
