Introduction

In this dashboard we will compare user retention in Flow with Ethereum and Solana.

We will see how many days it take to a user retained to each of these blockchains in average.

Also we will look at percent of users who retained in a week and in a month on each of these blockchains.

Method

To do this analysis I have used fact_transactions table of each blockchain.

To find user retention duration I have calculated difference in days between first transaction’s date and last transaction’s date of each user.

In the following chart we can see average days it takes to a user returns to each blockchain.

Average days for Ethereum is high and it could be because of wide range of Ethereum users.

In following we will look at percentage of users who retained to in one week on each blockchain.

We can see 20.6% of Flow users had returned to Flow in less than one week.

The following chart shows number of users who had returned to each blockchain based on their retention duration.

In following we will look at percentage of users who retained to in one month on each blockchain.

We can see 24.5% of Flow users had returned to Flow in less than one month.

We can say user retention on Flow is more than Ethereum by 11.98% and Solana by 17.49%.

The following chart shows distribution of user retention on Flow based on their retention duration.

We can see 76.5% of Flow users performed their transaction just in one day and they have never returned to Flow.

Conclusion

• Average user retention duration is 5.22 days on Flow.

• 20.6% of Flow users had returned to Flow in less than one week.

• 24.5% of Flow users had returned to Flow in less than one month.

• User retention on Flow in less than one month is more than Ethereum by 11.98% and Solana by 17.49%.

• 76.5% of Flow users performed their transaction just in one day and they have never returned to Flow.
