Introduction

IOU Tokens (BNB.RUNE and ETH.RUNE) will be deprecated after mainnet. Nodes will activate a “killswitch”, which will slowly reduce the redemption rate from 1.0 to 0.0 over the course of a year. After a year the upgrade code will be entirely removed and IOU tokens will no longer be supported. Upgrade your IOU tokens now.

In this dashboard we will be using THORChain database to see the amount of $RUNE being upgraded overtime and number of wallets have been upgraded to Native RUNE as following:

• $RUNE being upgraded over time($RUNE volume)
• $RUNE being upgraded over time(USD volume)
• $RUNE being upgraded over time($RUNE volume cumulative)
• $RUNE being upgraded over time(USD volume cumulative)
• Number of wallet addresses have been upgraded to native RUNE
• $RUNE being upgraded over time based on burn asset
• $RUNE being upgraded over time based on burn asset(USD volume)

We can see a big volume have been upgraded on Jun 14,2022 by about 54.5M $RUNE, while in previous day upgraded volume was about 0.99M $RUNE

Also in above chart we can see on Jun 14,2022 upgraded volume was about 105.6M USD.

The above chart shows number of ETH.RUNE addresses upgrades increased on Jun 24,2022 and Jun 25, 2022.

But the above chart shows 91.2% of total upgraded $RUNE belongs to BNB.RUNE.
